Episode 03 - The West Story

November 11, 2015

“The West Story” was a special project for a woman who lost her home in the West Explosion in April 2013. The client wanted the lighten up the outside of the house and create a fresh new look. The loss of a home is a painful experience, but the promise of restoration is even greater. We were honored to be a part of this rebuilding process for our client. Our hope was to give her a fresh start, which was the inspiration behind our vision for the home. Joanna chose light colors and simple decor and hoped to set up our client in a new space for her new beginning.

I think this was the episode that made me a follower of Fixer Upper. Having grown up six miles north of West, the client seemed like homefolk and I was so happy for her. You make dreams come true before the dreams begin. You are a blessing.

Could you please tell me the wall and trim color used in the kitchen and living room here on Season 1, Episode 3? I have been carrying the picture around in my phone since season 1 and finally ready for the remodel to begin. Also, could you please provide paint color for the master bedroom in Season 2, Episode 4? Each show is such an inspiration!
