November Magnolia Makeover

November 16, 2016

The last Magnolia Makeover is already here? WOW. Guys, I want to start by saying thank you so much for all of your entries over the past few months. I honestly had such a great time going through them and imagining what your spaces could be!

For our last Magnolia Makeover I wanted to do a type of room we hadn’t done before, so Joni Peters’ sunroom seemed like the perfect space to take on . This room already had great light and beautiful big windows so I thought with just a few simple additions this space could really come to life.

Joni, I’m so excited to send you this paint, rug, and brand new daybed! I designed this sunroom to be a place for you and your family to relax and recharge, and ultimately I want it to reflect your story. From the photos you submitted, it looks like you’re a “plant lady” like me, so I’m adding lots of opportunity for green in your new sunroom!

Shop Joni’s Style Plan:

Phase 1| One Horn White

Phase 2 | Magnolia Home Furniture | Magnolia Home Rugs

Phase 3 | Loloi Pillows | Clara Carving Pot | Camryn Watering Can | Magnolia Flower Pot | Milo Bubble Vase | Aspen Leaf Stem | There Will Be Miracles Jimmy Don Sign

I hope this style plan gives everyone looking to do a simple update in your home some new ideas! I love this space and I hope Joni and her family spend many lazy Saturday mornings curled up here with their morning coffee.

That’s officially a WRAP on Magnolia Makeover! I hope y’all enjoyed this series as much as I did. Fixer Upper season 4 is only two weeks away! Be sure to tune in November 29th to catch the very first new episode.

Very excited to visit!!! My husband is working in Texas while my daughter and I live in Michigan. It's hard to be apart as we are a very close family. But we make the best of it. My daughter and I are visiting next weekend and are very excited to visit your Magnolia Market. Love the show and everything you do to make lives happier.
    See y'all soon!!

I watched a show where the lady liked beach décor and you had a bookcase in that house that I liked and I wondered where you got it. I've been searching for bookcases forever!

Joanne, while everyone understands what you were trying to say during last night's episode, I was really taken back last hearing you call an adult African American man "boy." Perhaps you could have said "son" instead and not been so disrespectful. By the way, many of us (viewers) are still waiting for some reassurance that you and Chip and not anti-gay. The "respect everyone's opinion" argument doesn't apply to discrimination.

And you really think she was being disrespectful? I'm so exhausted from everyone being "offended" at every little thing. Get over yourself. ..."Awaiting for some reassurance that you and Chip are not anti-gay"... oh brother! And what if they are? They are Christians! The Christian faith does not condone homosexuality, and for once I'd like to see Christians stand up for their beliefs and faith and not succumb to the worlds acceptance, nor acquiesce to worldly approval merely to satisfy and gain viewers. It is not discrimination to stand up for what is unholy and "a filthy stench in the nostrils of The Lord". Homosexuality is an abomination, period. Whether gays are good or bad people, is a human excuse for "acceptance". To say you hope Chip and Joanna are not anti-gay, is intself discrimination.

Hi Joanna I wanted to ask will there be any more monthly renovations for 2017 and how do you enter? Is it like a contest. We enclosed our carport several years ago so our 3 boys would have a room to play in our house is small 1200sq ft before enclosed carport. Our boys are grown now and has become a combination storage mess and den. I have been trying to figure out how to redo the room to make a play area and sitting area for tv watching. I have drawn up some plans but still hard to figure out what to really do.
