Oh happy day, It's time to start planning for our Spring at the Silos event! Mark your calendars for March 16-18, because this is going to be a good one. NO tickets needed, and entry will be free!
Over 100 vendors from all over the country will be taking over the streets surrounding the Silos to bring you their unique, curated collections.
We're starting this weekend off right with morning yoga on the lawn with our friends from the Yoga Bar! Bring a mat if you have it, and join us March 16-18 at 7:30 a.m.! (Entry will be free.)
Come take a tour of the grounds to learn our Silos history. A special addition to our grounds tour this season will be a behind the scenes look at our gardens and how Joanna and our gardeners put together each new season's planters.
Come hungry, because our best Waco food trucks, plus trucks from all over the country, will be making appearances!
Check out the new spring setup in the Market!
Any trip to the Silos calls for a trip into Silos Baking Co.
No, this event will be open to the public.
We ask that you do not bring outside food or drinks onto the Silos grounds. You may bring bottled water. Food trucks will be open during the event.
Dress very comfortably, and don’t forget your rain boots in the event of inclement weather. In Texas, March temperatures can range greatly. Be sure to check the weather forecast for Waco, Texas as you pack your bags!
If you’re planning to stay the weekend, we highly suggest booking a hotel room in advance, as hotels surrounding the Silos typically fill up quickly. The Hilton Waco, The Hotel Indigo and the Downtown-area Courtyard Marriot are all very close by. But any Waco-area hotel you find will be happy to give you an estimate as to how far they are from the Silos. Most will be less than ten minutes away.
There will not be a meet and greet with Chip and Jo during Spring at the Silos.
Yes! Oftentimes flying into the Waco Regional Airport requires a connecting flight from another larger Texas airport, such as Dallas Fort Worth. Since Waco is central to Dallas and Austin, another option is to fly into DFW or Austin-Bergstrom and rent a car. Waco is approximately a 2 hour drive from both Austin and Dallas.
There are plenty of fun places to eat, shop, and explore while visiting Waco! For a guide to all that Waco has to offer, check out the city of Waco website.
The vendor fair will be open at 8am and close at 6pm.
The Market, the Bakery, the Seed + Supply garden shop, and food trucks accept all major credit cards. Vendors will also be able to process credit card payment.
Unless the weather is considered dangerous to our guests, we will continue with all scheduled events rain or shine.
We will not allow lawnchairs onto the Silos grounds, but picnic tables will be available if guests need to sit down. Wheelchairs and strollers will be allowed onto the Silos grounds at all times, and ramps and elevators will be accessible to all who need them.
Even on the busiest day, there is no need to pay for parking! We have a free parking lot with handicap spaces that's connected to the Silos; the entrance is on 8th street by CrossFit. Another option- take the Silos District Trolley! You can park for free downtown and take a 10 minute ride to the Silos. To find out all about the Silo District Trolley, click here. And one more note: please respect our neighboring businesses by not using their parking lots to come to our store.
