#Silobration Weekend

November 10, 2015

As you may have heard, we recently celebrated the official grand opening of Magnolia Market! We thought this occasion called for something huge; so in addition to welcoming thousands of out-of-town shoppers, we also hosted over 5,000 guests for a #Silobration concert and party!

We want to start this post off by giving a special shoutout to Mason Jar Films! These awesome friends were working hard for us all weekend, through rain and shine, to make a very special video for us to commemorate our grand opening #silobration.

Thank you so much to each of you who drove (or flew!) hundreds of miles to celebrate with us. We are so grateful that each of you made the trip to visit with us! #RainorShine!

Remember to read all the way to the end to see an awesome 7-minute video of #Silobration weekend!

The whole weekend was a dream! So many smiling faces, plenty of laughter, kiddos running around playing lawn games, good food, great music and even better company.

Chip and Jo were honored to host everyone at the Silos, and especially loved getting to hang out on the rooftop during the VIP meet and greet.

The highlight of both evenings was definitely hearing Johnnyswim live. The members of Johnnyswim, Abner and Amanda Ramirez and their band members, are unbelievably talented, and we especially enjoyed having them as our headliners!

Talk about a grand entrance – Chip surprised us all by rappelling off of one of the silos halfway through the concert onto the stage!

After Chip made it safely down onto the stage, he and Jo joined Johnnyswim in an epic singalong. The four sang “Home” together- the theme song of Fixer Upper!

Our guests enjoyed the very best of local Waco eats, as our food truck park was finally open for business. Our food trucks range from fresh juice, homemade biscuits, delicious crepes, Asian fusion, gourmet grilled cheese and more.

We also had a photo booth, snacks, pottery demonstrations and event swag being sold in our grain barn! Not to mention the awesome shopping that was going on in the Market.

Again, a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who came out to silobrate with us. We had an absolute blast, and hope you did, too!
